Tokyo from
July 31 to August 2, featuring a vibrant showcase of traditional craftsmanship and the skills behind making things.
A Celebration of Craftsmanship
Tokyo is proud to present this festival, aimed at promoting the fascinating world of craftsmanship and the artisans behind it. The event is specifically designed to inspire
young people and women to consider careers in skilled trades and manufacturing, providing various experiential programs and opportunities for interaction with master artisans.
Main Events of the Festival

Live Performances by Youth
High school and vocational school students will take the stage under the guidance of seasoned craftsmen. They will share their insights about the allure of skilled work and the potential careers that lie ahead. Notably, festival supporters
Mizuki Honda and
Sara Honda will join the live performances, bringing even more excitement each day!
2.
Master Craftsmen Showcase
The festival will feature a stage where master artisans—including recipients of the Yellow Ribbon Medal and skilled women from various fields—will present their exceptional skills. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the splendid techniques up close.

Hands-On Experience Programs
Enjoy over
100 different programs ranging from creating unique bamboo candles to trying your hand at traditional wall plastering. Participants can immerse themselves in the trade and develop a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship involved.

Special Exhibitions of Craftsmanship
Explore an exhibition showcasing a traditional tea room made from the finest architectural elements and marvel at the fusion of AI and traditional crafts. Additionally, there will be robot experiences to connect the past with future innovations.

Consultation Corner with Craftsmen
If you're interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing and craftsmanship, a new consultation area will be available, allowing attendees to speak directly with artisans about their work and various occupations in the sector.
