SINEXCEL Enhances Resilience of Czech Energy Network with New 6.02 MW Storage Project

Enhancing Energy Resilience in Czech Republic

SINEXCEL, a leading name in energy storage solutions, has embarked on an ambitious project to boost the resilience of the Czech energy network by deploying a new battery storage system with a capacity of 6.02 MW and 16.72 MWh. The project is strategically located in Loket, within the Nadlesí district, reflecting SINEXCEL's commitment to providing high-performance energy transformation technologies to the Czech Republic and the broader European energy market.

Energy Storage and Its Importance

In recent years, energy storage has emerged as a crucial solution for balancing supply and demand in electricity markets, especially with the increasing integration of renewable energy sources. This project exemplifies how advanced storage systems can play a pivotal role in stabilizing energy markets and enhancing grid reliability. By capturing price disparities in the energy market and ensuring essential grid balancing, SINEXCEL's latest initiative stands to significantly enhance the economic viability and stability of the local energy infrastructure.

Innovative Technology Utilization

The Loket project features cutting-edge energy conversion systems (PCS) developed by SINEXCEL, which operate at an impressive 1,725 kW capacity and achieve maximum efficiency rates of up to 98.5%. This state-of-the-art PCS system not only provides substantial technical advantages but also includes advanced multi-string technology, which improves battery protection and supports flexible chain configurations using 1, 2, 4, or 8 batteries.

One of the most notable features of this system is its rapid response time of 10 ms, which is essential for real-time grid balancing and seamless integration into existing energy frameworks. Additionally, the robust NEMA 3R certified enclosure design ensures reliable outdoor operation across diverse climatic conditions, thus extending the system’s operational lifeline.

Furthermore, the PCS system complies with major regulatory and grid standards in North America, Europe, Australia, Japan, and China, ensuring smooth deployment in various markets around the globe.

Financial Backing and Future Impact

The project, developed by Energo Synergy Group s.r.o., secured a no-penalty financing from Raiffeisen Leasing a.s. on November 1, 2025, and aims to achieve full operational status by April 30, 2026. With over 5,000 installations and a global capacity of 15 GW/40 GWh, SINEXCEL continues to solidify its standing as a preferred partner for developers seeking reliable and efficient energy storage hardware.

This project not only exemplifies SINEXCEL’s ongoing dedication to driving the global transition towards a sustainable and resilient energy future, but it also underlines the increasing importance of energy storage in modern energy networks.
