• - Nickel Cadmium (NiCd)
• - Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)
• - Lithium-ion batteries
• - Mercury containing devices
• - Lithium Primary batteries
• - Mercury batteries
• - Silver Oxide batteries
• - Lead Acid (non-spillable)
• - Small electronics (like cellphones, tablets, and power tools)

Additionally, damaged, defective, or recalled batteries will also be received at the event, ensuring they are recycled safely. However, it is important to note that e-cigarettes, vape pens, and larger electronic devices such as televisions and electric vehicle battery packs will not be accepted.

Importance of Battery Recycling

“Batteries are ubiquitous in our daily lives, yet many people do not know how to dispose of them correctly,” said Daniel Beltran, Plant Manager at Cirba Solutions. “Our recent survey revealed that almost 50% of respondents are aware that lithium batteries should not be tossed in the trash, but they still do so because they lack knowledge regarding proper disposal.”

To ensure safe handling, participants are advised to tape the battery terminals prior to drop-off, and a vehicle maximum limit of 200 pounds for batteries applies.
