Applied Aerospace Welcomes David Myers as Chief Strategy Officer



STOCKTON, Calif., January 21, 2025 – In a strategic move to enhance its position in the aerospace sector, Applied Aerospace, known for its innovative spacecraft and aircraft systems, has officially appointed David Myers as its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). This newly created role is intended to leverage the company's impressive 70-year history of excellence to capture a larger market share.

Applied Aerospace is gearing up for expansion within several dynamic fields, including commercial space, hypersonics, uncrewed systems (UAS), satellite constellations, as well as radar and communication technologies. The company has a solid reputation for producing cutting-edge systems that cater to both military and commercial applications.

In 2022, Applied Aerospace, previously recognized as Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation (AASC), transitioned under new ownership following its acquisition by the private equity firm Greenbriar. His previous roles also include serving as President of Peraton Communications and Chief Executive Officer at DataPath, alongside being the Chief Commercial Officer for Harris CapRock. Additionally, he has held leadership positions in the Space and Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) industry association.

Myers boasts a robust academic background with an MBA in technology marketing from Rice University, complemented by undergraduate degrees in business and international studies from Southern Methodist University.
