ISFNet Joy Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has announced an impressive achievement at the 33rd Iwate Prefecture Cultural Arts Festival. Taking place from November 13 to December 7, 2025, participants from the Morioka office showcased their work, resulting in the prestigious Most Outstanding Award in the Craft Division and Honorable Mention in the Photography Division.

About the Iwate Prefecture Cultural Arts Festival



The Iwate Prefecture Cultural Arts Festival provides a platform for individuals with physical and mental disabilities residing in the prefecture to display and celebrate their artistic endeavors. This festival aims to promote independence, social participation, and the cultural arts to the wider public, encouraging people with disabilities to pursue their passions.

As part of its vocational training initiative, ISFNet Joy supports creative activities designed to enhance concentration and teamwork among its users. They participated in this festival to exhibit five works, showcasing the talented expressions of the individuals involved. Out of numerous submissions, the ingenuity and artistic craftsmanship of two works stood out, earning significant recognition.

Most Outstanding Award in the Craft Division


Work Title: "A Letter to Starry Night"
Work Description:
This piece is a tribute to Vincent van Gogh's iconic painting, "Starry Night." Uniquely crafted from discarded Kent paper, the creation involved individually folding small pieces of paper that formed a mosaic art covering the canvas. The creativity of reanimating waste materials and the effective teamwork of five participants completed a demanding task, leading to high praise from the judges.

Honorable Mention in the Photography Division


Work Title: "Wrapped in Love"
Work Description:
A heartfelt piece expressing deep affection for a grandmother, captured through the lens of a user’s daily life. The candid moment encapsulates warmth and subtle reflection, resonating with the judges and distinguishing it among 21 works as an honorable mention.

The award ceremony on November 30, 2025, saw the recipients celebrated for their remarkable achievements, where they expressed gratitude and aspirations for future artistic pursuits. Comments included a desire to challenge themselves further in their expressions and the joy derived from sharing their work with others.
