During this event, players will encounter characters from SANDA integrated into the Ao Oni Online experience. The highlight of this collaboration is the limited-time appearance of the exclusive character, Principal Daijibu, who will be hunting players on a specially designed map.

About the Anime SANDA

SANDA is set in a near-future Japan facing a drastic decline in birth rates. In this gripping landscape, children are cared for and protected inside a full-boarding school, regarded as national treasures by adults. However, Santa Claus, a figure traditionally seen as a source of hope and dreams for children, is viewed as a potential threat and targeted for elimination.

The story follows middle schooler Kazuhira Mita, who finds himself targeted by his classmate, Shiori Fuyumura, on the snowy Christmas Eve of December 25. Unbeknownst to both, Mita is a descendant of Santa Claus, and Fuyumura aims to have her wishes granted by finding her missing friend, Kazuya Ono. Standing up for the children’s hopes, Mita decides to embrace his legacy as Santa Claus and fight against the adults.

The original manga is penned by Paru Itagaki, widely recognized for winning the 2018 Manga Award and also crowned in multiple prestigious manga ceremonies. The animation is produced by Science SARU, known for their acclaimed works like Dandadan and Kimi no Iro.
