NVCA Unveils 2026 Venture Vanguard Class

On March 17, 2026, the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) proudly announced its 2026 Venture Vanguard class. This prestigious recognition highlights individuals who have made significant contributions to the venture capital landscape, fostering innovation and spurring economic growth across the United States. The members of the 2026 class will be honored at a ceremony scheduled for May 14, 2026, at the luxurious Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California.

The Venture Vanguard Award was established in 2023, marking the NVCA's 50th anniversary, and aims to celebrate the trailblazers within the venture ecosystem. It acknowledges exceptional contributions made by members, board alumni, and allies of NVCA, who have played pivotal roles in transforming the venture capital industry. Honorees are recognized for a variety of achievements including the establishment of successful venture firms, groundbreaking investments in transformative technologies, leadership in philanthropic efforts, and advocacy for policies that enable innovation.

Bobby Franklin, President and CEO of NVCA, emphasized the importance of honoring these leaders. Annie Lamont

Annie is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Oak HC/FT, a key player in healthcare and fintech, managing over $7 billion in assets. Under her guidance, Oak HC/FT has successfully raised six funds and invested in more than 100 companies. Annie's prior experience includes a significant 28 years at Oak Investment Partners, where she exhibited her expertise in healthcare and fintech. Her portfolio includes influential companies such as Aspire Health, athenahealth, and One Medical. She has consistently earned recognition, including being listed multiple times on the Forbes Midas List and receiving the NVCA Excellence in Healthcare Innovation Award.
