Kirin's Spring Celebration Event in Tokyo

As February approaches, Kirin Beer is ready to embrace the coming spring with its special event, the "Ichiban Shibori Winter Hanami Experience". Celebrating in style, the event will take place at Azabudai Hills Café from February 6th to 8th, 2026, inviting guests to enjoy cherry blossoms while sipping Kirin’s premium brew.

This year marks the launch of the Ichiban Shibori Limited Spring Thermochromic Design Can, adorned with beautiful sakura motifs, designed to change color with temperature. Kirin introduces this innovative feature in their cans for the first time, ensuring a unique experience for attendees. Alongside the original Ichiban Shibori, the lineup includes the Ichiban Shibori Zero Sugar Limited Spring Design Can and the Ichiban Shibori White Beer Limited Spring Design Can, all of which will be available from February 3rd for a limited time.

Guests can enjoy a taste of spring by toasting with a special Ichiban Shibori glass, which reveals a delightful color change when the beverage is chilled down. This unique activity encourages guests to revel in the winter hanami experience while eagerly anticipating the vibrant spring season.

In addition to the exquisite beverages, the venue will feature a photobooth, allowing attendees to capture memorable moments surrounded by stunning cherry blossoms. A special board, titled "What do you want to do this Spring? Sakura Board", will be set up for guests to jot down their springtime aspirations. As a little incentive, those who share their photos online or participate in the board activity will receive a complimentary can of the Ichiban Shibori Limited Spring Design Can.
