Agthia Group's Impressive Results for Q1 2026



Agthia Group PJSC, a leading player in the food and beverage sector in the region, has reported a robust first quarter for 2026, showcasing a notable 12.5% increase in net income. The company’s strong performance can largely be attributed to effective execution across its diversified portfolio and its ability to maintain operational continuity in the face of external challenges.

In its recent announcement, Agthia highlighted several key indicators of its success. The group’s net revenues surged by 3.3% year-on-year, reaching AED 1.3 billion, while EBITDA increased by 4.1% to AED 193.3 million. This upward trend reflects the company’s rigorous execution, improved profitability, and enhanced operational efficiency across its major businesses.

Segment Performance



The Water and Food segment continued to be a key growth driver for Agthia during the quarter, supported by strong bottled water performance in the UAE and home and office services. The Protein and Frozen Foods segment also showed promising advancements, bolstered by ongoing transformation efforts and the ramp-up of the group’s protein plant in Saudi Arabia, with Phase II now operational and increasing capacity.

Meanwhile, the Agro-industrial segment contributed positively, demonstrating strong underlying results along with participation in UAE-related food security programs. The Snacks segment is undergoing restructuring with a focus on strengthening future growth and margin potential.

Additionally, the group reported a significant 22.5% increase in e-commerce revenue, now representing 7.2% of underlying income. This shift highlights Agthia's commitment to adapting its operational strategies towards the digital marketplace.
