MIZUNO Home to Standardize DXYZ's FreeiD Facial Recognition in All Future Apartments

MIZUNO Home to Implement FreeiD Facial Recognition Technology

In a significant partnership aimed at enhancing residential security and convenience, MIZUNO Home has decided to adopt DXYZ’s FreeiD facial recognition ID platform as a standard feature in all its upcoming apartments. This decision underscores a commitment to integrating advanced technology into modern living spaces, paving the way for a new era in residential living.

The Faces Behind FreeiD

DXYZ, a subsidiary of Migalo Holdings, has pioneered the FreeiD platform, which uniquely integrates facial recognition technology for seamless interactions in daily life. This innovative system allows residents to enter, verify their identity, and make secure payments using just their face. Gone are the days of fumbling for keys or wallets; with FreeiD, a single facial registration syncs all identification needs, creating a streamlined living experience.

DXYZ’s solution targets multi-family residences, offering a fully integrated experience from entrances to private units. Their initiative has already led to the establishment of Japan's first “All Facial Recognition Apartment,” with an impressive 264 buildings equipped with FreeiD technology by the end of September 2025.

MIZUNO Home's Vision

MIZUNO Home is well-recognized for its focus on creating secure, comfortable environments for its residents. The company aims to foster a sense of community and well-being through its CERES series of apartments, strategically located in Nagoya. Each property blends urban convenience with a tranquil living atmosphere, showcasing cutting-edge amenities and sophisticated designs.

Understanding the need for improved security and operational efficiency, MIZUNO Home has chosen FreeiD to not only enhance security but also significantly reduce management burdens. The first project to feature this technology is the Ceres Dome Mae, set to be completed in January 2025. Following that, two more developments—Ceres Daimon and Ceres Nakamura Koen Mae—are also slated to incorporate FreeiD technology.

Executive Insights

Mr. Yoshio Mizuno, President of MIZUNO Home, commented on the decision, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce FreeiD as a standard feature in our apartments, focusing on our residents’ safety and comfort. This facial recognition system enables non-contact access and enhances the flow of everyday life, ushering in a next-generation apartment experience.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Sei Nakanishi, President of DXYZ, expressed pride in the collaboration, stating, “It is an honor for us to have our FreeiD platform standard in new buildings by MIZUNO Home. This technology offers residents a lifestyle where they do not need to carry keys anymore. We aim to enhance MIZUNO Home’s value through improved apartment management safety and differentiation.”
