Marren's career spans more than two decades, showcasing tremendous versatility and skill in the finance world. He has spent 23 years in business development roles primarily within the Mergers and Acquisitions departments at renowned financial institutions such as Citigroup, Credit Suisse, and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. His reputation as a recognized expert in M&A adds a wealth of knowledge to One Oak's operations. He is also an accomplished author, having penned two books on M&A published by Dow Jones Irwin. But his contributions go beyond just writing; he has also imparted knowledge as an adjunct professor at NYU's Stern School of Business and guest lectured at prestigious institutions such as Fordham Law School and Columbia Law School.

Mr. Marren holds several prestigious degrees: a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary, a Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School, and a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business.
