Celebrating Light and Design: DI CLASSE's In-House Exhibition
DI CLASSE, a leading lighting design and manufacturing company based in Taito City, Tokyo, recently wrapped up its inspiring exhibition from June 1 to June 12, 2026, at its flagship store, Lux DI CLASSE. The exhibition, named "DI CLASSE IN-HOUSE EXHIBITION," revolved around the theme of exploring the essence of comfortable living spaces through innovative lighting solutions. Attended by designers, media representatives, and buyers, the event created an engaging atmosphere that enabled participants to immerse themselves in the narrative woven by light and shadow.
Event Highlights
One of the key features of the exhibition was the unveiling of the new lighting product, the "Yunel rope." Drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese shimenawa (sacred rope), this flexible lighting solution offers adjustable dimming functionality. Attendees were invited to interact with the light, emphasizing a new value of relaxation and emotional well-being that can be achieved through custom lighting experiences.
In addition, DI CLASSE presented the "The KATAGAMI auro Collection,” a remarkable collaboration with the renowned traditional dyeing company Mitsukatsu. This craft lighting was a beautiful reinterpretation of Taisho-era designs using modern laser technology to highlight the beauty inherent in traditional techniques.
A special preview of the collaboration with celebrated ceramic artist LISA LARSON showcased charming animal figures, which provide soft illumination for interiors, serving both as decorative pieces during the day and gentle light sources at night.
Moreover, the company introduced a collaborative space with the furniture brand cotan. The display featured soft sofas and tables illuminated by DI CLASSE lights, presenting a holistic lifestyle concept where furniture and lighting work in harmony.
The exhibition also included a special installation called the
