Bentley Unveils 2026 Mulliner Personalization Guide
On May 27, 2026, Bentley Motors introduced its latest Mulliner Personalization Guide, themed "INSPIRATIONAL INDIVIDUALITY," which emphasizes how owners can express their unique personalities in their vehicles. As interest in bespoke finishes and options rises, the Mulliner division is continuously developing new features to entice and inspire customers.
Currently, over 70% of Bentley customers opt for some form of Mulliner bespoke content in their specifications, extending beyond standard color and finish combinations. This encompasses everything from one-off special paints to personalized embroidered emblems and fully coach-built vehicles.
Expanded Ombre by Mulliner Color Options
Among the new offerings is the expansion of the "Ombre by Mulliner" finish, which debuted at the 2025 motorsport event, The Quail. This exterior finish features a seamless gradient connecting two colors, requiring a demanding 56 hours of labor from two skilled technicians. Initially, three combinations were available—from Topaz Blue to Windsor Blue, Sunburst Gold to Orange Frame, and Tungsten to Onyx. Now, this line-up has expanded to eight combinations, including Alpine Green to Verdant and Cricket Ball to Black Velvet, all designed to perfectly match corresponding interior piano veneers. The seamless color coordination flows from the fascia to the door waist rail, enhancing the aesthetic appeal.
Performance-Driven Features
The performance models of Bentley, including the Continental GT S, GTC S, and the limited Super Sport and Speed models, are engineered for drivers seeking exceptional performance. A new racing stripe introduced by Mulliner accentuates the dynamic character of these vehicles, composed of two colors with a broad central stripe flanked by two narrower contrasting stripes. This design runs from the iconic Bentley wings on the hood, across the roof (except on the Continental GTC), and extends to the rear spoiler.
Unique Interior Options
Mulliner’s interior options are extensive, featuring bespoke stitching and embroidery, open-pore wood veneers, and ultra-thin stone veneers, all crafted to perfection. The latest offerings include a newly added Ombre piano veneer and a new metal technical finish called "Wave" for the center console of the GT and GTC models. The wave design incorporates a motif of overlapping ribbons, creating a visual and tactile sensation that stands out.
Additionally, customers can personalize their interiors further by laser-etching their motifs or designs onto the fascia. This process preserves the natural texture and smooth feel of the veneers, while also allowing for custom artwork on open-pore wood veneers, high-gloss veneers, satin-finished carbon fiber, and technical finishes.
In the 2026 model year, two new Mulliner-specific welcome lamp animations have also been introduced, and owners can create their custom light displays to enhance the personal touch.
Mulliner's Bespoke Portfolio
The Mulliner bespoke portfolio team offers meticulously curated options for each model. These designer-proposed combinations of colors, trims, and finishes serve as inspiration for customers to work collaboratively with Mulliner consultants or Bentley authorized specialists. This ensures every client can craft a truly one-of-a-kind Bentley that resonates with their personal style and aspirations.
As Bentley continues to strengthen its commitment to bespoke personalization, the 2026 Mulliner guide exemplifies the brand's dedication to elevating luxury automotive experiences by celebrating individuality.
