An astonishing 84% of respondents rated their issue-spotting abilities as "exceptional" or "strong," while 83% lauded their legal writing skills, and 94% praised their proficiency in legal research. Additionally, graduates scored highly in relationship management, with 77% of employers rating their abilities in this area as "exceptional" or "strong."

Employers have commended UH Law graduates for their "resilience and adaptability" in an ever-changing legal landscape, coupled with their thorough preparation for the competitive Houston legal market. Hiring professionals noted the school's significant exposure to this market as a key factor, stating that UHLC graduates are truly "market-ready." Many highlighted graduates' abilities to handle client interactions and deliver high-quality legal work.
