Accor and Technotun Collaborate to Launch Pullman Hotels in Armenia

Accor Enhances Armenian Hospitality Scene

In a landmark agreement, Accor, a leading figure in the global hospitality sector, has teamed up with Technotun, a prominent real estate operator in Armenia. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the country’s hospitality industry as it introduces the esteemed Pullman brand to Yerevan for the first time. The agreement was formalized during the Yerevan International Hospitality Forum 2024, showcasing a commitment to expanding premium accommodations in the region.

Scheduled to debut in 2027, the Pullman Residences Yerevan and Pullman Living Yerevan projects promise to redefine premium hospitality standards within Armenia. The venues will be situated amidst the tranquil hills of Norki Ayginer, blending business and leisure in a bid to attract international professionals, long-term residents, and investors alike.

A Blend of Work and Leisure

The Pullman Residences will offer a fusion of hotel amenities and residential comforts, catering primarily to those seeking medium- to long-term stays. With fully serviced options provided by Pullman staff, the residences are designed to meet the needs of both international expatriates and local residents seeking a blend of luxury and home-like comfort.

Tigran Mnatsakanyan, Director of Technotun, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting their shared values and vision. He stated, “Partnering with Accor allows us to create a living experience of exceptional quality and service, offering residents a comprehensive range of tailored solutions.” This sentiment underscores the strategic alignment between the two organizations, promising a transformative impact on Armenia's lodging industry.

Since its inception, Pullman has made a mark in over 40 countries with over 150 hotels, establishing itself as a leader in catering to modern global travelers. With notable establishments in major cities such as Paris, Berlin, and Dubai, Pullman's arrival in Yerevan signals an exciting new chapter for the brand and the city.

Commitment to Sustainability

In its design, the Pullman complex emphasizes sustainability and well-being with considerable landscaping, creating inviting outdoor spaces enhanced with public infrastructure. Collaborating with Technotun, the new properties will celebrate Pullman’s forward-thinking ethos, featuring initiatives like a car-free policy, cyclists’ lanes, and electric vehicle charging stations. This approach aims to foster healthier lifestyles while adhering to responsible hospitality practices.

Philippe Bone, Director of Development at Accor's New-East region, articulated the vision behind this initiative: “This project represents an exciting opportunity to introduce Pullman's blended business and lifestyle concept to a dynamic new market, offering a purpose-driven and sustainable experience that reimagines the way people live, work, and connect.”

Both Accor and Technotun have previously forged a memorandum of understanding in July 2024, laying the groundwork for this ambitious joint venture. The 20,000-square-metre development promises 16,000 square metres of landscaped spaces, contributing to the community’s well-being.

Accor continues to exhibit a robust presence in the hospitality industry, operating more than 5,700 properties worldwide across varied brands—from luxury to economic accommodations. The brand emphasizes responsible tourism and community engagement, indicating its commitment to fostering positive change through its global operations.
