CreatorWeek 2025 Starts in Macau: A Celebration of Global Creativity



From October 24 to 28, 2025, Macau becomes the epicenter of creativity as it hosts the highly anticipated CreatorWeek 2025. Organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) in collaboration with Branded and Adbeyond Group Macau, this event transforms the city into a dynamic showcase of global artistic expression. With participation from over 180 creative groups, 50 keynote speakers, and 20 live performances from around the world, CreatorWeek is hailed as Macau's first grand celebration of the creative economy.

The opening ceremony at Wynn Palace on October 24 marked the beginning of a week filled with vibrant energy and international dialogue. Attendees exchanged creative insights and explored how diverse narratives can be expressed globally through innovative content formats. The event fostered a lively environment where Chinese artists shared their traditions and modern perspectives, while international creators reinterpreted these stories for a wider audience. Interactive experiences highlighted Macau's creative dynamism and its unique position as a cultural bridge between East and West.

Highlighting the second half of the program, the CreatorWeek Conference on October 27-28 at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, brings together creatives, social media leaders, and representatives from major platforms like Google, Bilibili, Meta, YouTube, Red, and Douyin. Celebrity guests, including The Stokes Twins and Alan Chikin Chow, discuss the differences between East and West communities, monetization strategies, and intercultural collaboration, emphasizing Macau’s role as a creative center.

Attendees will engage in sessions that extend beyond digital production. As part of the “Macao Healthy Living Zone,” wellness workshops run throughout the event at the Fantasy Box of MGM, featuring trainers like Will Liu and Matt Tralli leading participants through various wellness training sessions. A meet-and-greet event on October 25-26 at The Londoner Macau attracts hundreds of fans eager to meet 40 popular content creators, including Apl.de.Ap, Steven He, and Berywam. Meanwhile, Galaxy Macau™ will serve as the hub for CreatorWeek Live, featuring performances by international stars such as the K-Pop group XODIAC, Japan's Psychic Fever from EXILE TRIBE, and Filipino artist Mikey Bustos.

The CreatorWeek Academy kicks off with practical workshops where industry experts provide insights on content creation and strategies for reaching global markets. A special Local Community Tour connects international creators with local ambassadors to explore the city’s neighborhoods, cuisine, and culture, collaboratively creating content that shares the spirit of Macau with a global audience.
