In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, the Japan Racing Association (JRA) has joined forces with the popular VTuber group Nijisanji to launch the special initiative, the "Nijisanji Horse Racing King Championship." This exciting project aims to elevate the experience of the fall GⅠ series, allowing fans to engage with horse racing in a unique way.

The series consists of two parts: a variety segment and a battle segment, featuring four prominent VTubers from Nijisanji: Amamiya Kokoro, Sakaki Ness, Shikinagi Akira, and Nuit Sociere. In the variety segment, viewers will have six episodes to learn the intricacies of horse racing, covering essential topics like racing styles and race dynamics. Joined by JRA FUN CLUB official members, actor Kitano Hinako and comedian Captain Watanabe, the VTubers will watch past races while sharing valuable insights in a fun and accessible manner. Each episode will include mini-games, providing participants a chance to earn helpful items for the subsequent battle segment.

The battle segment takes the excitement a notch higher, featuring the VTubers making actual predictions on six significant races: the Shuka Sho, Kikuka Sho, Tenno Sho (Autumn), Queen Elizabeth II Cup, Mile Championship, and the Japan Cup. By competing to amass points based on the finishing positions of their predicted horses, the VTubers will not only showcase their skills but will also bring fans into the action through live streams on their YouTube channels. Notably, the battle segment for the Japan Cup will be broadcasted exclusively on the JRA FUN CLUB channel.

At the end of these thrilling competitions, the VTuber who accumulates the highest points will be crowned the "Nijisanji Horse Racing King" and awarded the honor of appearing on the giant Turf Vision screens at the racecourse. Additionally, an opening video teaser has been released to build anticipation for the intense battles to come. The excitement is palpable, and fans are eager to find out who will seize the title of "Nijisanji Horse Racing King."

This initiative not only enhances the experience of horse racing for fans but also brings a fresh twist to the traditional format of racing events.
