Upcoming Release of 'The Last of Us: Season 2'

Warner Bros. Japan is thrilled to announce that digital rentals and sales for the highly anticipated second season of 'The Last of Us' will kick off on August 13, 2025. Fans can also look forward to the complete Blu-ray box set (3 discs) and DVD rentals starting from November 12, 2025.

The production quality of 'The Last of Us' has been recognized by critics far and wide, with the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards showcasing the show’s talent across various technical categories, including production design, sound editing, and visual effects. Recognizing its excellence, the show earned nominations for 17 categories at the upcoming 2025 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress in a Drama Series, with much anticipation surrounding these nominations.
