Alejandro G. Przygoda, a seasoned leader in the global investment banking space with over 30 years of experience, has officially announced the establishment of Przygoda & Co. LLC, an independent global investment banking firm based in New York City. This ambitious new venture aims to provide high-level strategic advisory services to CEOs, executive teams, board members, private equity firms, and other significant investors across the globe.

Alejandro Przygoda’s Legacy

Before founding Przygoda & Co., Alejandro Przygoda held several significant positions in the investment banking sector. Notably, he was co-head of global investment banking and global head of the Financial Institutions Group at Jefferies from 2021 to 2025. Previously, he spent 18 years at Credit Suisse, with the last ten years as the global head of Financial Institutions Group. His career began at CS First Boston in 1995, and he has held leadership positions at Greenhill and UBS. His impressive credentials also include a financial background as the CFO of General Re’s Argentine subsidiary from 1990 to 1993.

A graduate of The Wharton School of Business, Przygoda was a Palmer Scholar and graduated with distinction. He is also recognized for his academic excellence at the University of Buenos Aires, where he was a top graduate with a degree in accounting and earned certification as a public accountant in Argentina.

Przygoda is not only an experienced banker but also a thought leader, frequently speaking on activism, defense, and M&A at The Wharton School. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Trustees at Collegiate School in New York.
