Combating the Dinner Dilemma: 'Cook Do® 99 Menu' to the Rescue!
With the rising cost of living impacting households across the nation, a recent survey conducted by Ajinomoto revealed that approximately 67.2% of parents of school-age children feel their dinner tables have become monotonous. This increase in repetition is largely attributed to the use of the same ingredients, with a staggering 72.9% admitting to relying on specific items beyond their usual variety.
In response to these challenges, Ajinomoto is launching an innovative series titled ‘Cook Do® 99 Menu.’ This collection offers a variety of affordable, flavorful recipes designed to reinvigorate the home dining experience. By focusing on versatile and stable-priced ingredients, Ajinomoto aims to combat meal fatigue and provide creative culinary solutions.
A Look at the Survey Results
Conducted in October, the survey sought input from parents who cook for their families at least once a week. Results were telling, with 93.8% of respondents feeling the impact of rising food prices. When asked how their food expenses have changed, 85.4% reported increases of 10% or more in the last three months. This reveals how the financial strain is shaping not only budgeting practices but also the types of meals prepared.
Rising Challenges in Meal Preparation
The survey also spotlighted a notable shift in culinary preferences as families adapt to tighter budgets. Approximately 48.6% of parents believe their struggles with meal variety and nutritional balance have worsened due to inflation. Alarmingly, 59.8% feel they cannot utilize healthier ingredients as they used to because of soaring prices.
Among the comments from the survey, many participants expressed dissatisfaction with limited ingredient availability and the lack of excitement surrounding their meals.
