SANY Unveils Advanced Green Mining Technologies at Global Summit 2026

Recently, the SANY Global Mining Summit 2026 concluded in Xi'an, China, where over 700 executives from the mining industry gathered to explore innovative solutions for the future of mining. The summit primarily focused on intelligent and carbon-reduced mining technologies, marking a significant step towards sustainable practices in the industry.

During the event, SANY showcased its integrated "Generation-Network-Load-Storage" solution, alongside a range of autonomous mining systems and heavy-duty mining trucks. Notably, the company secured potential orders exceeding 10 billion RMB and signed contracts valued at over 5 billion RMB.

Launch of the SRT100S Hybrid Mining Truck

One of the highlights of the summit was the introduction of the SRT100S, a hybrid mining truck designed for challenging mining conditions. This new model, capable of carrying 100 tons, features a hybrid direct drive system and a powerful motor that enhances overall efficiency by 10%. With speeds reaching 50 km/h and a load haul grade capability of 30%, the SRT100S is built to perform excellently in tough terrains.

Additionally, the truck includes a range extender with dual motors and a high-performance battery system, which together lower energy costs by 20%. Thanks to continual innovation, SANY currently holds over 35% of the global market share for heavy-duty electric mining trucks. Models such as the SET240S and SET150S are already in operation at leading international mines, demonstrating fuel savings between 10% and 20% alongside maintenance cost reductions of up to 30%.

Smart Mining Solutions and Automation

At the summit, SANY also revealed its pioneering Smart Mining Solution, fusing autonomous driving, remote operations, and big data frameworks. This system integrates autonomous mining trucks, cloud-based dispatching, and coordination between vehicles and diggers, supporting a wide spectrum of intelligent mining applications. The SKT145Ei, SANY's first fully electric autonomous mining truck, was highlighted as a key innovation. Its capabilities allow for both remote operations and complete autonomy, enabling versatile usage in various mining scenarios. SANY's smart mining solutions are currently implemented in over 20 large open-pit mines globally, coordinating more than 5,000 intelligent machines to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.

Furthermore, SANY debuted its leading integrated "Generation-Network-Load-Storage" solution, bridging clean energy technologies with mining operations to create a comprehensive ecosystem. This system encompasses core machinery, energy management, and lifecycle services.
