Jackery and Tsunan Town's Collaborative Disaster Response Agreement

On December 22, 2025, Jackery Japan, the local branch of the global leader in portable power solutions and solar panels, officially signed a disaster response collaboration agreement with Tsunan Town in Niigata Prefecture. This partnership aims to create a coordinated system for efficiently procuring portable power supplies during and in anticipation of emergencies.

The CEO of Jackery Japan, Katsutoshi Takahashi, and Tsunan Town's Mayor, Yu Kuwahara, were both present at the signing ceremony. This agreement signifies a joint commitment to leveraging their respective resources to enhance community services and ensure safety and security for the residents of Tsunan.

In the event of a disaster, Jackery will prioritize the supply of portable power stations and solar panels from their logistics hubs, responding promptly to requests from Tsunan Town. This proactive approach is not just limited to emergencies; regular training and community events will incorporate the use of these portable power resources to boost disaster preparedness awareness among residents.

The agreement also sets the stage for field tests of portable power stations and solar panels in everyday settings, further encouraging their use in routine life as a part of disaster readiness efforts.
