Exciting Premiere for the New Project Sekai Anime Movie Featuring Hatsune Miku Announced!

In an exciting announcement for fans of both the video game and the anime community, Sega and Colorful Palette have revealed that a special premiere event for the film 'Project Sekai: The Broken World and the Miku Who Cannot Sing' will be held at Marunouchi Piccadilly on October 25, 2025. This highly anticipated anime film is based on the successful rhythm and adventure game 'Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku', originally launched on September 30, 2020, and has since accumulated an impressive 39 million downloads worldwide.

This first-ever anime film adaptation of the 'Project Sekai' franchise features an entirely original story that introduces a new version of Hatsune Miku, one that has not been seen within the game universe. After its successful release on January 17, 2025, the movie has already grossed an astounding 1.48 billion yen at the box office as of September 23, showcasing its popularity among audiences.

The premiere event on October 25 will host a special stage greeting featuring several cast members: Rurika Noguchi (Ika Hoshino), Mayu Yoshioka (Haruka Kiryu), Fumiya Imai (Akito Shinonome), Daisuke Hirose (Tsukasa Tenma), and Minori Suzuki (Ena Shinonome). The cast will also perform the film's ending theme, 'Worlders', allowing attendees to join in and sing along during select parts.

The excitement doesn’t stop at the live performance; audiences across Japan will be able to enjoy the stage greeting via live viewing at various theaters where the film is screening. This will create a community atmosphere, allowing fans to share in the celebration together, regardless of their location.

Moreover, after the main film screening, attendees will be treated to a special program featuring a re-edited version called 'After Live' from all six units, alongside an exclusive giveaway for attendees. The giveaway includes a serial-numbered card designed as a ticket that celebrates Hatsune Miku, specific to the time of the viewing – themed either 'The Sealed Window World of Hatsune Miku' or 'The Open Window World of Hatsune Miku', ensuring that fans leave with a memorable piece from the event.
