The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, along with the Tokyo Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Corporation, has recently announced the selection of 80 projects for its 11th round of support under the "Equipment Investment Support for Dynamic Business Promotion" initiative for the fiscal year 2023. This program, which has been in operation since 2021, aims to assist small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Tokyo area by subsidizing part of the expenses incurred for the introduction of machinery and equipment necessary for enhancing product and service quality, thus boosting competitiveness and expanding production capacity.

1. Strengthening Competitiveness: Businesses that are introducing new machinery necessary for business expansion focused on enhancing their competitive edge.
2. DX Promotion: Initiatives that leverage digital technologies like IoT, AI, or robotics to create new products or transform existing business models.
3. Innovation: Projects that seek to solve urban challenges and are expected to expand markets both domestically and internationally, necessitating new machinery for innovative activities.
