SANY Impresses at bauma 2025 with Sustainable Innovations and Digital Intelligence

SANY Shines Brightly at bauma 2025

The recent conclusion of the 34th bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany, saw a stunning display of innovations as SANY, alongside Putzmeister, presented their extensive product range under the theme “The World of Efficiency, Your Partner in Creating the Best.” The event is recognized as the premier global trade fair for construction machinery, and SANY made substantial waves, attracting over 200 prospective customers on the opening day and clinching planned orders worth nearly 3 billion yuan (approximately 360.3 million euros).

A Showcase of Sustainable Products

This year, SANY unveiled 35 flagship products, including excavators, telehandlers, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, and road machinery. Notably, 31 of these products hold CE certification, demonstrating a commitment to safety and compliance with European standards. The lineup included 15 worldwide debuts, among which 11 were electric models, underscoring SANY's dedication to sustainability and technological innovation.

Among the highlights was the SCC2000A-EV, the largest electric crawler crane featuring a chain boom, equipped with a high-capacity 422 kWh CATL battery that allows for operation of up to 9 hours. The Danfoss engine, boasting a power of 234 kW, delivers robust performance for rigorous tasks, and the crane meets CE certification and European highway regulations.

Moreover, the STR50E is the first 5-ton electric dump truck in the industry, featuring a 60 kWh battery that facilitates over 7 hours of continuous operation, with rapid charging capabilities in just 60 minutes via standard EV charging stations. Powered by a CATL liquid-cooled battery system, it operates reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 50 °C, backed by over 2,000 operational hours and charging cycles equivalent to a 30-year lifespan.

SANY also presented the SY215E, the flagship of their electric excavators, which utilizes a 422 kWh CATL battery and a high-performance 150 kW motor, enabling 6 to 8 hours of uninterrupted use in European working conditions. With dual CCS2 charging (100% charge in 1.5 hours) and AI-powered 360-degree cameras for human zone detection, this model enhances both safety and efficiency.

Finally, the STH625E compact telehandler designed for Europe stands out for its ability to operate in tight spaces, combining performance and compact design with an impressive operational range and speed.

Spotlight on Digital Intelligence

SANY also captivated attendees with its digital intelligence zone, attracting significant interest in its MySANY platform and the intelligent excavation system, Mechlink. The Mechlink system, developed by Yaowu Technology and SANY's Heavy Machinery Research and Development Institute, aims to enhance safety and efficiency in large excavators operating in challenging conditions using ultra-low-latency 5G technology, enabling Level 2 intelligent excavation with a single click.

A stunning demonstration involved the remote control of an excavator from Munich to Huzhou, China—spanning over 8,500 kilometers—delighting more than 200 participants and garnering enthusiastic responses from onlookers.

SANY’s European Journey

SANY's European journey began in 2009 with its entry into Bedburg, Germany. Since then, the company has built a robust ecosystem across Europe, comprising research and development, manufacturing, marketing, and post-sales services. With 150 dealers, 120 sales experts, 70 service vehicles, and a spare parts inventory valued at 20 million euros, SANY consistently exceeds customer expectations, delivering clean, green, and sustainable products.
