Pierre Marcolini Opens a New Store in Jiyugaoka for Chocolate Lovers

Pierre Marcolini: New Store Opening in Jiyugaoka

Belgium's renowned chocolate brand, Pierre Marcolini, is set to open its latest store in Jiyugaoka on September 17, 2026. Located in the newly developed commercial facility, Jiyugaoka Muse Square, this will be the second shop in the Kanto region, following its success at the Coredo Muromachi Terrace.

The new store will feature a café that accommodates 40 guests, with 36 seats indoors and 4 on the terrace. This space is designed to offer a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for visitors who want to enjoy high-quality chocolate products in a relaxed environment.

As a pioneer of the Bean to Bar concept, Pierre Marcolini takes pride in personally overseeing every aspect of chocolate production, from selecting the finest cacao beans to the roasting and manufacturing processes. The shop will not only showcase a wide range of creatively crafted chocolates but also offer pastries, macarons, and homemade ice cream. Four different types of artisanal specialties will be available, crafted by the accomplished chocolatiers and pastry chefs at Pierre Marcolini.

One of the highlights of the Jiyugaoka store is the Turbine Minute, a unique ice cream that is freshly made and served on demand. This is part of their commitment to offering customers the freshest flavors possible. The café will also serve delightful desserts like parfaits and waffles, all incorporating this signature ice cream.

In an effort to cater to local customers, Pierre Marcolini will feature their Gourmandise series, which offers bulk purchases of chocolate-covered treats such as almonds and orange peels. These snacks make for ideal everyday indulgences, whether as personal treats or as gifts for friends and family during home parties.

Additionally, the Jiyugaoka store will launch an exclusive chocolate beverage called Chocolanbule Banane, which is made with chocolate and rich banana flavor for a delicious drink that can be enjoyed on the go during shopping excursions. It will be priced at 990 JPY for dining in or 864 JPY for takeout.

To celebrate the grand opening, from September 17 to September 30, 2026, customers who spend 3,000 JPY or more will receive a complimentary Cake au Marron, shaped like a cacao pod. Supplies are limited, so it's advisable for visitors to take advantage of this promotion early.

Pierre Marcolini has a rich history, with its first store opening in Brussels’ Grand Sablon Square. Today, it operates 15 outlets in Belgium, alongside locations in Paris, Shanghai, and Dubai. In Japan, Pierre Marcolini first arrived in 2001, and the Jiyugaoka store will be the 19th location nationwide, reinforcing its growing presence in the country.

The Jiyugaoka shop further strengthens Pierre Marcolini's commitment to offering premium, high-quality products while contributing to sustainable and ethical practices within the chocolate industry. The company places importance on fair pricing for cacao farmers and focuses on creating a positive experience for everyone involved in the chocolate-making process.

For those interested in indulging in world-class chocolates, visiting the new Pierre Marcolini store promises to be a delightful experience filled with innovation and exceptional flavors.
