Brian Campbell Takes the Helm at the US Governance & Sustainability Center



On September 22, 2025, The Conference Board announced the appointment of Brian Campbell to lead its US Governance & Sustainability Center. In addition to this pivotal role, he will also serve as the organization’s General Counsel. With more than 25 years of extensive experience in corporate governance, Campbell brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position.

Campbell’s career has been marked by leadership roles at various prominent companies, where he has served as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. His experience includes guiding organizations through critical phases such as initial public offerings (IPOs), activist engagements, mergers and acquisitions, and complex reorganizations. His expertise in enterprise risk management adds further value to his new responsibilities at The Conference Board.

Prior to this role, Campbell was the Chief Legal Officer at Trajector Medical and Trajector Disability, where he played a significant role in corporate strategy and governance. His track record at DHI Group, Inc. is equally noteworthy, where he spent over two decades and led the company’s IPO alongside numerous acquisitions and divestitures.

As a recognized thought leader in corporate governance, Campbell is also a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Global Board of Directors and has held leadership roles within ACC’s New York City chapter, as well as its Global Small Law Department Network. His extensive network and insights are anticipated to greatly benefit the members of The Conference Board and the broader community.
