VC Ideathon 2026 Winter: Transforming Ideas into Reality
On February 5, 2026, from 18:45 to 22:00, Tokyo will witness an innovative gathering hosted by TeamMake Capital as they kick off the VC Ideathon 2026 Winter. The mission of this event is to connect diverse talents to foster the growth of new industries and businesses. Attendees will collaborate to develop viable business plans based on ideas proposed by venture capitalists.
What is an Ideathon?
An ideathon combines the concepts of 'idea' and 'marathon’, creating a format designed for rapid brainstorming and refinement of new business concepts. Throughout this event, participants will have the opportunity to craft business plans in a dynamic setting, working with actual proposals from leading venture capitalists. This year, four esteemed VC partners, including seasoned experts, will pitch their business ideas and provide valuable insights.
Participants can choose to join teams focused on business ideas that pique their interest, allowing them to leverage their unique skills in research, product prototyping, and development. Each team's progress will be supplemented with feedback from VC investors, enhancing the overall quality and potential of their plans. At the final pitch session, teams will present their developed concepts, followed by comments from several venture capitalists.
