Shinzo Matsuhashi

Born on August 18, 1969, in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture, Matsuhashi graduated from Waseda University’s Law School before joining WOWOW in 1994. He made his mark in the industry by producing the hit film Battle Royale and later became an independent producer in 2005. With various box office successes under his belt such as Gintama, Kingdom, Golden Kamuy, and Sakamoto Days, he has firmly established himself as a leading figure in Japanese cinema, earning the Fujimoto Award multiple times for his notable works.
