Accor Partners with Mews to Standardize Food and Beverage Technology Across Its Global Portfolio
Accor Partners with Mews for a Unified F&B Technology
Accor, a leading global hospitality group, has selected Mews as its partner to modernize and harmonize the technology related to food and beverage (F&B) operations across its international portfolio. This initiative marks a strategic move as Accor continues to enhance its offerings within the F&B segment, a crucial revenue driver for the hotel industry.
As of September 30, 2026, Mews' Point of Sale (POS) system is already operational in over 850 Accor establishments spread across more than 20 countries. The deployment of Mews' F&B technology is intended to benefit a broad spectrum of Accor's brands ranging from luxury to budget, ensuring consistency in service quality and operational efficiency.
The F&B sector is considered a strategic business lever for Accor, representing a significant portion of total hotel revenue. To capitalize on this potential, Accor is focusing on unifying the technologies that support its F&B operations. This standardization is part of a broader strategy aimed at optimizing operational workflows, reducing costs, and enhancing inventory management through real-time reporting capabilities.
By utilizing a single system for orders, menu management, inventory, and reporting, hotel teams can streamline operations significantly. Mews’ cloud-native, mobile-first solution enables quick deployment and boasts a support response time averaging below one hour.
Jean Noel Lau Keng Lun, Accor’s Distribution Director, emphasized the importance of F&B as both a revenue source and a customer loyalty tool. He stated, “Following the streamlining of our CRS, PMS, RMS, MICE, and payment systems, we are now ready to optimize our F&B technology ecosystem. This strategy will introduce a new F&B technology program that includes preferred solutions aimed at helping our properties maximize total revenues while more deeply integrating dining experiences within our loyalty ecosystem.”
Richard Valtr, founder of Mews, highlighted that every establishment has its unique operational approach to F&B management. “Brand restaurant concepts thrive best when they align with local demand and culture, tailored to the specific context of each venue,” he noted. Mews POS is designed to adapt to these realities, offering a user-friendly interface that requires no dedicated IT support for deployment and usage.
Mews POS is distinguished from standalone POS solutions due to its integration with a cutting-edge open API. This integration aligns with the broader Mews OS ecosystem, allowing Accor to interlace its F&B operations into its overall customer loyalty journey. This adaptability makes Mews an ideal partner for hoteliers wishing to enhance their F&B offerings while maintaining flexibility in operations.
