This innovative, cloud-based platform serves as a centralized resource, offering automotive repair specialists access to technical information, training, repair solutions, and personalized support, all aimed at facilitating the digitalization of their operations.

In addition to this portal, the newly introduced 'MAHLE Battery Workshop Support' will significantly ease the process for workshops when it comes to making quick, safe, and cost-effective evaluations regarding high-voltage battery repairs, thereby relieving some of the burdens on repair facilities. Furthermore, the 'MAHLE Mobile Service' is set to allow workshop professionals to bring services directly to customers, enhancing convenience and efficiency for both parties.

Another noteworthy collaboration involves MAHLE's partnership with Rohde & Schwarz, enabling the standardized testing of radar sensors post-repair, solidifying MAHLE's position as a technical leader in the aftermarket sector.

Looking toward the future, MAHLE is ambitiously planning to expand its product portfolio for electric vehicles, aiming to grow from 1,000 currently available products to over 2,000 by 2030. The introduction of the 'CareMetix® Natural' cabin air filter showcases MAHLE's commitment to improving in-vehicle air quality while employing sustainable materials like wool, which enhances filter efficiency without compromising environmental standards.

Philipp Grosse Kleimann, head of MAHLE's Lifecycle & Mobility division and member of the management board, emphasized at a recent event in Stuttgart, "The future of workshops is evolving from traditional repair hubs to service centers that adeptly support connected, electrified, and software-driven mobility. He further indicated that by continuously evolving the Lifecycle & Mobility division from merely a parts supplier to a comprehensive solutions provider, MAHLE lays a strong foundation for independent repair shops to maintain their robust positions in the market.

With the 'MAHLE Workshop Portal,' a free service provided to technicians, service advisors, and shop owners, the objective is to facilitate knowledge acquisition, improve operational efficiency, and uncover new business opportunities. Central to this portal is an integrated technical support system enhanced by AI and a 'direct ticket system.' This setup allows repair facilities to swiftly access expert knowledge and obtain assistance for diagnostic and repair challenges. Coupled with an extensive knowledge base, online training courses, and the latest industry information, the portal is designed to bolster the operational workflow of repair shops in this digital age.

Pilot projects for the portal will launch this summer in Europe and South America, with plans to eventually roll it out to independent repair shops across Germany and then globally later in the year. Furthermore, 'MAHLE Battery Workshop Support' will significantly expedite the assessment of high-voltage batteries through advanced diagnostic testing technologies that allow for immediate communication with the battery via the CAN interface, whether integrated in a vehicle or removed.

The 'MAHLE Mobile Service' aims to enable technicians to visit customers directly with fully equipped service vehicles, thereby reducing vehicle downtime and enhancing customer convenience.
