Philocoffea's Educational Marketing Project with Funabashi High School
In an innovative move aimed at enriching educational experiences and promoting local engagement,
Philocoffea, a specialty coffee company based in Funabashi, Chiba, will kick off a practical marketing education project at
Funabashi High School starting from the 2026 academic year. This collaboration aims to empower high school students by providing them with real-world business experiences while stimulating the local community through educational initiatives.
A Challenge in Real Business Education
The project will officially launch for the second-year commercial class, involving around 29 students who will participate in a series of classes totaling approximately 80 hours. This program will not merely involve conventional classroom instruction; it emphasizes hands-on learning experiences in areas such as product development, promotional strategies, actual sales, business plan formulation, and presentations. This experiential learning approach is designed to simulate real-world business activities as closely as possible.
