While 75% of participants voiced confidence in their understanding of key insurance terms, there are substantial knowledge gaps. More than half of the respondents were unable to accurately define essential terms like “coinsurance” (61%) and “deductible” (56%). Only 17% of individuals could correctly identify all five critical terms presented in the survey.
