Grants that Make a Difference
On April 30, 2026, the Polo Club Foundation made headlines by allocating more than $165,000 in grants to support ten remarkable local nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County. This significant contribution underscores the Foundation's commitment to uplifting individuals and families in need through impactful community service.
The evaluation process for these grants was thorough and rigorous. The Grant Allocations Committee, composed of 20 dedicated volunteers, engaged in extensive reviews and interviews. Their efforts focused on assessing numerous nonprofit organizations based on critical factors such as mission alignment, demonstrated impact, financial stewardship, and the organizations' ability to effectively address pressing community issues. Through a collaborative and consensus-driven approach, the committee selected nine organizations that exemplify both immediate and long-term benefits to the community.
Gary Heldman, President of the Polo Club Foundation, emphasized the importance of thoughtful giving in his remarks: "These grants represent the very best of what our community stands for—thoughtful giving, local impact, and meaningful change. Our volunteer committee invested an extraordinary amount of time and care to ensure that every dollar entrusted to us is allocated with purpose and integrity. We are incredibly proud to support these organizations and the vital work they do every day."
