Ambientec Gallery Tokyo Set to Open with New 2025 Collection Showcase

Introduction to Ambientec Gallery Tokyo

In an exciting development for design enthusiasts and lighting aficionados, Ambientec, a premier name in high-quality portable lighting, is set to unveil its first direct-operated gallery in Tokyo on May 23, 2025. Located on the second floor of the AXIS building in the vibrant Roppongi district, the Ambientec Gallery Tokyo will not only highlight their latest collection but also invite interaction from clients and the public alike.

Design Philosophy and Objectives

Ambientec, founded in Yokohama, is recognized for its innovative use of technology in crafting portable lighting solutions that transcend traditional concepts. The gallery aims to foster direct communication with customers, making it a hub for both business and consumer engagement. This new space intends to provide an immersive experience where visitors can explore the connection between light and ambiance—setting it apart from any previous exhibitions or shows that the brand has participated in internationally, including the renowned Milan Design Week.

The Creative Space

Architect Takashiro Oniki, who has designed both the Yokohama showroom and showcased collections in Milan, will define the interior of the Ambientec Gallery. The design concept features a laboratory-inspired space with a bar counter where visitors can experience how different lighting affects an environment. The gallery will utilize state-of-the-art lighting, including 5000 Kelvin spotlights, to enhance product beauty and presence, presenting a unique opportunity for attendees to appreciate Ambientec products within an actual living space context.

The gallery's layout is planned to remain open and engaging, focusing on showcasing all products in a way that highlights their aesthetic and functional qualities while also inviting visitors to interact with the displayed items. The integration of glass and rich-textured materials throughout the space creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, further encouraging exploration.

Debuting the 2025 Collection

Coinciding with the gallery's opening, Ambientec will host a three-day exhibition from May 23 to May 25, 2025, at the AXIS Gallery on the fourth floor of the same building. This exhibition will mark the debut of four new collections introduced at the Milan Salone earlier that April. Alongside this showcase, visitors can also engage in a Q&A session with the designers of each new collection, offering insights into their creative processes.

The spotlight will be on innovative designs such as Vosco, inspired by traditional tools; Barcarolle, reminiscent of evening gatherings; Still, which enhances the beauty of crystal glass; and hymn pro, a sophisticated evolution of light reminiscent of candle flames.

Event Details and Invitation

The public is warmly invited to attend this monumental event, welcoming everyone from lighting enthusiasts to design professionals. The opening of the Ambientec Gallery Tokyo is not merely a business launch; it embodies a connection between light, space, and the emotions they inspire. With a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and innovative design, Ambientec continues to redefine the role of light in modern spaces.
