OneLayer Launches Technology Alliance to Enhance Secure Private Cellular Networks

OneLayer's New Technology Alliance Program

OneLayer, a leading provider in the management of private LTE/5G infrastructures and Zero Trust security, has announced the launch of its new Technology Alliance Program (TAP). This initiative aims to create a certified ecosystem of integrations with technology partners that offer integrated solutions for companies operating private cellular networks. Among the partners involved in this program are notable names such as Check Point, Claroty, Digi International, Druid Software, Ericsson, Fortinet, Kigen, Nokia, Semtech, and Teltonika, showcasing a broad spectrum of expertise in areas like network infrastructure, security, IT/OT operations, device management, and SIM technology.

Strengthening Connections and Security

By collaborating closely with these partners, OneLayer is positioning itself as a vital security and orchestration layer that connects devices with private cellular infrastructures and corporate networks. This collaboration allows customers to deploy private cellular networks with the same confidence, transparency, and control they expect across their entire operating environment. According to Dave Mor, CEO of OneLayer, customers are increasingly seeking a collaborative ecosystem that enhances the usability and benefits of private 5G technology. He emphasized that their product ecosystem is built on tech partnerships rather than standalone products.

The TAP certification program is designed to streamline product development, accelerate feature releases, and meet a wider range of customer needs. Tamar Tsuk-Perez, VP of Product at OneLayer, pointed out that private cellular technologies introduce new devices, protocols, and operational contexts, presenting unique challenges for security and IT teams. The TAP ensures that all integrations adhere to the same standards as the rest of the enterprise tech stack, thereby increasing reliability and performance.

Customer-Centric Integrations

The focus of each integration within the TAP is to achieve specific mutual outcomes that certified solutions can provide—all of which enhance what individual products might typically offer. These include:

  • - Total Transparency: OneLayer's device recognition and fingerprinting integrate with leading mobile cores, cellular routers, and IT service management (ITSM) platforms, giving teams a comprehensive view of every device operating within the private cellular network and its surrounding corporate environment.
  • - Zero Trust Enforcement: Integrations with next-gen firewalls and network access control platforms extend Zero Trust policies to private LTE and 5G devices, allowing for policy enforcement based on detailed device context.
  • - Visibility Beyond the Router: Integrations with cellular routers and management platforms enable visibility for non-cellular based devices connected behind routers, expanding policy enforcement and segmentation capabilities.
  • - Automated Device Onboarding: Collaborations with private cellular cores, SIM providers, and device management platforms automate the discovery, authentication, and onboarding processes, reducing operational burdens that previously impeded managing private cellular networks.
  • - OT Security Without Replacement Needs: Integrations with existing OT transparency and industrial security platforms integrate mobile network contexts into current OT security workflows, facilitating anomaly detection and segmentation without requiring new processes to be built from scratch.

Structure of the Program

Each partner in the TAP has completed a certified integration with OneLayer, ensuring reliable support and lifecycle maintenance for customers. Certified partners will be featured in OneLayer's vendor recommendations and integration directory, alongside receiving co-marketing and co-selling support, shared solution workshops, and contributions to the API roadmap, supported by a dedicated partnership manager and the TAP badge from OneLayer itself.

According to Amir Bushehri, Strategic Alliance Director at Digi International, their integration with OneLayer delivers the enterprise-level connectivity and security that customers demand. Similarly, Loic Bonvarlet, Senior Vice President of Ecosystem Marketing at Kigen, highlighted how their collaboration simplifies SIM provisioning on private core networks, enabling companies to connect and activate devices more easily.

The TAP certified integrations cover all critical categories of the private cellular technology stack, including:
  • - Network infrastructure (private cellular cores, MNOs, RAN)
  • - CPE (cellular routers and dongles)
  • - Security (next-gen firewalls, NAC, SIEM)
  • - IT/OT operations (CMDBs, ITSMs, network operating platforms, MDMs)
  • - SIM management and connected devices, including Push-to-Talk and AMI.
