Angela Lambert's Spring 2025 Presentations on Product Safety

Angela Lambert, head of standards compliance at Clarion Safety Systems, is set to take the stage at several significant product safety and compliance events this Spring 2025. Her deep expertise in safety standards will provide attendees with invaluable knowledge, especially concerning safety labels and compliance requirements.

Conference Highlights

Lambert will present at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Product Safety and Stewardship Conference at the end of April and into early May. This seminar offers industry-specific educational sessions focused on key topics such as risk assessment, hazard communication, and incident investigation. Attendees can expect to gain essential tools to navigate contemporary challenges in product safety management.

One of the focal points of Lambert's presentation will be the vital standards and requirements that govern safety labels both in the United States and internationally. She will particularly emphasize the ANSI Z535 series and ISO 3864-2 standards. Lambert plans to provide comprehensive insights into the latest updates to these standards and their implications for safety professionals today. Furthermore, she will explore common issues in implementing these standards, like color choices, messaging complexities, and the latest advancements in digital signage and warnings—a growing area of interest due to the forthcoming ANSI Z535.7 standards set to release later in 2024.

In addition to the AEM conference, Lambert will also feature in the University of Wisconsin-Madison's annual course on product safety, liability, and warnings, scheduled for June 2 to June 5, 2025. As part of the university’s 'Advanced Products' course, her session will address crucial considerations around drafting effective warnings that comply with standards both for domestic and international markets.
