New Cable Theft Prevention Service Launched for Solar Power Operators



MIRARTH Holdings Co., a company based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, through its subsidiary Leven Community Co., in partnership with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, has introduced a new service package aimed at solar energy providers. This service features the installation of intrusion detection sensors and automatic notifications to security companies, which will be available starting from April 18.

The collaboration between Leven Community, led by CEO Nakashinsuke, and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance is aimed at addressing the escalated issue of cable theft that has become rampant in solar power facilities. As the market prices for metals have surged, incidents of theft have proliferated, demanding urgent and effective security measures for these facilities. Through pilot implementations of this service at multiple power plants within the MIRARTH group, the detection system has proven effective in preventing theft by successfully deterring intruders.
