Takahashi Yuji Concert Vol.3: A Unique Musical Event
The long-anticipated finale of the concert series hosted by ATAK, the pioneering music label led by composer Keiichiro Shibuya, is finally here. Taking place on June 18, 2026, at Daikanyama Hillside Plaza, this culmination of artistic collaboration features a stunning blend of live performances and cutting-edge technology.
This series, started with a piano solo concert titled "Piano" featuring renowned composer Yuji Takahashi last November, followed by the multi-artist collaboration "MULTIPLE" in April of this year, has captured the attention of music lovers. Each previous performance showcased an intricate world of music reflective of Takahashi's works from the 2010s, with tickets selling out almost instantly.
For this final show, entitled "One plus Two," audiences will be treated to live piano performances by both Takahashi and Shibuya, accompanied by the unique vocal stylings of Android Maria, an advanced humanoid robot modeled after Shibuya's late wife Maria. Notably, this date marks the 18th anniversary of Maria’s passing, making the event even more poignant.
The collaboration among Takahashi, Shibuya, and Android Maria is expected to weave together themes of music, memory, and technology, creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for attendees. The interplay of organic performance with advanced AI promises to bring forth new musical dimensions that reverberate with deep emotional resonance.
Tickets are set at 6,500 yen for the general public and 6,000 yen for students and Hillside Club members if purchased in advance. For tickets on the day of the concert, prices will be raised to 8,000 yen for general attendees and 7,500 yen for students and members.
