XCMG Co-Organizes the 15th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
On August 13, 2026, the registration for the 15th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition kicked off, focusing on the theme "Green Intelligence for a Better World." This notable event is co-organized by XCMG and encompasses the AI + Construction Machinery category, inviting innovators, engineers, scientists, and tech enthusiasts to devise progressive solutions that advance smart and eco-friendly technologies in the construction machinery domain.
This competition serves not only as a contest but also as a launching pad for problem-solving, a rapid avenue for transforming technologies from labs to job sites, and a platform for collaboration and exchange. It comprises three segments: a professional contest, client co-creation, and an open challenge. The competition addresses universities, research institutes, international clients, supply chain partners, and tech companies.
Competition Segments
Professional Contest
The professional contest is divided into two categories: one for unlisted companies and another for teams. It encourages AI-based solutions across various fields:
- - AI + Products: Innovative configurations of complete machinery, humanoid smart architectures, and intelligent hardware ecosystems based on new energies.
- - AI + Job Site Scenarios: Covering autonomous operations, multi-machine coordination, and energy resupply models applicable to mining, earthmoving, and agriculture.
- - AI + Operations: Deploying AI agents focused on needs assessment, document generation, and client interaction.
Co-Creation with Clients
The co-creation aspect aims to address real-world operational challenges faced in sectors like mining, earthmoving, and agriculture. It involves equipment sets, operations, and maintenance throughout the product lifecycle, smart assistance, and unmanned operations.
Open Challenge
The open challenge focuses on three technical challenges with specific performance objectives:
1.
Autonomous excavation under complex material conditions, achieving at least a 95% task success rate.
2.
Multi-sensor fusion perception in highly dusty environments, with a recognition accuracy of at least 97%.
3.
Battery health assessment in intensive operational conditions, ensuring an estimation error of no more than 3%.
Support for Participants
This competition, organized in collaboration with various government bodies and industrial associations, provides participating projects with extensive support, including commercialization assistance, funding opportunities, talent recruitment, and continuous guidance. This support facilitates a faster transition from competition engagement to market entry.
Registration is open until September 15. Projects must be submitted by September 25 (Beijing time). Interested participants can register through the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition website at
www.cxcyds.com or directly via the XCMG website at
www.xcmg.com.
The event not only paves the way for innovative solutions but also fosters a culture of collaboration and challenge, ensuring that the construction machinery sector continues to evolve and adapt to the demands of a greener future.
