Strengthening Community Childcare in Seiro Town
Pal System Niigata Tokimeki, based in Niigata City, recently celebrated a significant milestone in its mission to promote community welfare. On April 30, the cooperative signed a collaboration agreement with Seiro Town to advance childcare support initiatives in the area. This pact marks the third of its kind since previous agreements with Shibata City and Tsubame City. As a delivery service deeply embedded in the community, Pal System aims to create an environment where everyone can confidently raise children, ensuring that all kids grow up healthy.
Building a Local Network
The agreement focuses on leveraging the cooperative’s existing local delivery network to enhance interactions with child-rearing families. This approach aims to effectively promote Seiro Town's childcare policies. With a high rate of usage among families in Seiro, the cooperative will deepen its ties with local government efforts to support families.
During the signing ceremony, Seiro Town Mayor Nishiwa and Pal System's Chairperson Etsuko Seno each affixed their signatures to the agreement documents. Seno stated, "In addition to our delivery services that bring safe food to homes, our cooperative is committed to contributing to the creation of a community where residents can live safely. We aspire to take on a bigger role in childcare support. In the future, we look forward to creating spaces for community interaction in collaboration with the town." This declaration underscores the cooperative's commitment to addressing the expectations of Seiro Town’s administration.
The Role of Cooperative Delivery in Local Welfare
Under the new agreement, Seiro Town will distribute a congratulatory card containing information about the 'Omedeto Bako' (Congratulations Box) to families participating in infant check-ups. Interested families can use a QR code on the card to apply for a delightful package filled with essential childcare items. This package includes baby soap, wipes, a recipe book for homemade baby food, and other nutritious food items.
Pal System will personally deliver the 'Omedeto Bako' to the applicants' homes, ensuring that these essentials reach new parents directly. Celebrating a decade of service in the local area, Pal System is poised to play a vital role in monitoring and supporting child-rearing families through its delivery operations.

Supporting the Community through Cooperation
