Envision Energy Unveils 2026 Net Zero Action Report at VivaTech, Paving the Way for Future Energy Systems
At the recent VivaTech event, one of Europe's most prominent innovation conferences, Envision Energy showcased its 2026 Net Zero Action Report. This annual report signifies the sixth consecutive year the company has committed to transparency regarding its net-zero initiatives. The 2026 report emphasizes the transformative power of integrating energy with artificial intelligence (AI) to revamp industrial systems and underpin modern civilization's infrastructure.
According to Lei Zhang, the founder and CEO of Envision Energy, true energy transition entails more than just replacing outdated resources. It involves constructing a new generation of infrastructural frameworks that can sustain prosperity in an age defined by AI. "Energy is not merely the foundation of AI; it's the lifeblood of intelligence," Zhang stated. He stressed that as energy systems become critical to our intelligent age, a seamless energy management solution is vital to provide abundant, reliable, and sustainable energy essential for the next industrial revolution driven by AI.
Envision has recently pioneered next-generation energy systems, termed AI Energy Systems, which aim to maximize efficiencies and adjust power supply according to dynamic demand. An exemplary case of this innovation is demonstrated at the Chifeng Net Zero Industrial Park, which operates on a fully renewable energy supply of 2 GW. Here, Envision utilizes its EnOS platform and the "Energy Foundation Model" to synchronize wind and solar energy generation with energy storage solutions, computational loads, and green hydrogen production in real-time.
In collaboration with Tencent, the AI Power System optimizes the planning of computational loads, adjusting power needs based on the availability of renewable resources. This innovation not only promotes sustainability but also supports a new initiative called Mission Gobi, which aims to establish 5 GW of capacity in green AI data centers across arid regions by 2030.
The report also emphasizes Envision’s active role in fostering energy security, industrial transformation, and local community development worldwide. For example, the Amunet wind farm in Egypt, which is one of Africa's largest wind installations, has become fully operational, generating approximately 2.3 billion kWh annually—enough to power around 800,000 homes and support Egypt’s Vision 2030 goals.
In the UK, the intelligent energy storage system based on the Dubhe Energy Foundation model aids the Carrington Project, one of the largest standalone power storage facilities in the country. Upon completion, it will provide two hours of electricity to 2.2 million households and improve grid stability—crucial for meeting net-zero targets.
Additionally, Envision has shipped its first batch of green ammonia produced at the Chifeng facility to LOTTE Fine Chemical in South Korea, marking a significant step towards establishing green ammonia as a global, CO2-free raw material.
The company is also involved in supporting the Monsoon Wind Power Project in Laos, which has cleared over 1,200 landmines while supplying clean energy equivalent to the needs of 1.43 million households in Vietnam, thereby creating over 1,600 local jobs. Envision is actively contributing to community education and local engagement programs, enhancing local development.
By publishing its Net Zero Action Report for the sixth year in a row, Envision Energy has evolved from a technology pioneer into a global leader in developing infrastructure necessary for a sustainable future. With initiatives extending from arid deserts to demined fields, this organization continuously implements innovative energy systems aimed at expanding access to clean, affordable, and reliable energy. As the convergence of AI and clean energy becomes more pronounced, Envision is dedicated to laying the groundwork for a new era of sustainable prosperity.
