SpartanNash Foundation's Generous Donation of $330,000 to Support Nonprofit Initiatives for Military Families
SpartanNash Foundation's Generous Contribution to Military Families
In a remarkable display of community support, SpartanNash® and the SpartanNash Foundation® have raised an impressive $330,000 through their annual Heroes fundraiser. This initiative, running from May 21 to June 23, united shoppers at various retail locations including Family Fare, Martin's Super Markets, and DW Fresh Market. The funds are aimed at bolstering military families, veterans, and communities in need by providing necessary support through three nonprofit partners: Folds of Honor, Operation Homefront, and Convoy of Hope.
The Impact of the Heroes Fundraiser
As societal challenges mount, this fundraising campaign has never been more critical. Each of the three nonprofits involved will receive $110,000 to further their missions. The SpartanNash Foundation emphasizes that the raised funds are not merely transactional; they are lifelines made possible by the generosity of everyday shoppers. Adrienne Chance, the Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at SpartanNash, shared, "Not only can Convoy of Hope continue delivering critical relief on the frontlines, our other partners in Operation Homefront and Folds of Honor can provide hope and resources to U.S. servicemembers, Veterans and their families."
