JAF Expands Road Service Network: Partner Recruitment Initiative

The Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) Kanto Headquarters, led by President Yasuhiko Sato, has announced a new recruitment initiative for road service partners. This step aims to enhance the safety and assurance experienced by automotive users in the regions of Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Niigata. The recruitment period is scheduled to last until September 15, 2026, as JAF looks to strengthen its rescue operations through innovative partnerships.

Supporting New Careers in Road Services

This program is specifically designed to support individuals interested in the automotive industry or those seeking a challenging new career path. Participants will be trained in all aspects necessary for running their own road service business. The selected partners will enter into an exclusive contract with JAF, allowing them to promptly assist customers in need of help due to vehicle breakdowns or accidents. After being hired, partners will undergo a training program equivalent to that of JAF employees, ensuring they obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality services.

Comprehensive Training for All Experience Levels

New recruits will partake in a two-month residential training course at no cost. During this period, trainees will receive a salary while they learn. The hands-on training includes practical education using real vehicles to master JAF’s high-level road service techniques and safety protocols, providing peace of mind for those without prior experience.

Launch Your Own Business with JAF Support

Once the training is complete, participants will sign a contract as individual business owners with JAF. They will operate as JAF partners, where JAF will provide tow trucks on a lease basis, making it achievable for anyone to start their ventures without needing to own a vehicle. All that is needed is a parking space and a valid semi-medium driver's license (non-automatic).

• - Position: JAF Partner (JAF dedicated operations)
• - Primary Duties: Assist with roadside vehicle breakdowns and accidents
• - Operating Areas:

- Tokyo: All areas
- Kanagawa: Yokohama, Kawasaki, and surrounding areas of Sagamihara Central Ward and Midori Ward
- Chiba: Funabashi, Kamagaya, and areas around the eastern coast
- Niigata: Itoigawa City, Sanjo City, Niigata City, and surrounding areas of Murakami City

• - Number of Positions Available: 4 (This recruitment excludes former employees and existing corporations)
• - Eligibility: Semi-medium license or higher (non-automatic only)
