Dive Inc. Transitions to Holding Company Structure
On July 1, 2026, Dive Inc., a leader in human resources services specializing in more than 5,900 tourist facilities across Japan, officially changed its name to Dive Group. This strategic shift marks a significant transition to a holding company system, aiming to reinforce governance and expedite decision-making processes across its subsidiaries. Under this new structure, Dive Group seeks to maximize the value of its diverse business segments and adapt quickly to market changes.
The groundwork for this transformation has included planning and implementing a new management system for its three key subsidiaries: Dive, Dive Local, and Yado-ya Juku. Each subsidiary has also redefined its vision and mission to align with the overall group philosophy.
Purpose of Transitioning to Holding Company Structure
The decision to move to a holding company model was guided by the need for agility in decision-making and enhanced governance. With the rapid changes in the market landscape, having distinct companies allows for more focused strategies tailored to each subsidiary's unique services.
Prior to the full transition, two subsidiaries have already undergone name changes to align with the new corporate structure. Dive, which continues the resort human resources service, operates under the newly adopted name from January 1, 2026. Meanwhile, Dive Local, tasked with the management of glamping facilities, has been operational under its new name since April 1, 2026.
