Press Invitation for Off-Peak Container Movement Initiative at Tokyo Port
Tokyo Port serves as Japan's leading international trade port, handling the highest volume of container freight in the country. However, growing concerns regarding the decline in truck drivers and regulations on working hours are impacting container transportation. In response, stakeholders are collaborating to implement solutions such as "modal shifts" and enhanced efficiency in port logistics.
As previously announced, the off-peak container movement initiative will commence on November 4. During the fiscal year 2025, we invite media representatives to cover our efforts live from the Tokyo Port Depot. Below are the details for the field coverage.
