MSI Unveils Cutting-Edge Liquid-Cooled AI Infrastructure and Platforms at COMPUTEX 2026
MSI Showcases Innovative Liquid-Cooled AI Infrastructure at COMPUTEX 2026
At the COMPUTEX 2026 event, MSI is taking the spotlight with a remarkable portfolio aimed at revolutionizing AI infrastructure and data center capabilities. Located at booth J0605a, MSI is particularly emphasizing its liquid-cooled infrastructure, developed in response to the escalating thermal demands of contemporary data centers due to increasing compute density.
Cutting-Edge Liquid-Cooled Solutions
The highlighted products include high-density, liquid-cooled ORv3 rack-scale architectures specifically designed for AI infrastructures. The liquid-cooled systems aim to improve thermal efficiency and accommodate sophisticated AI workloads. Additionally, the offerings consist of NVIDIA MGX platforms which are perfect for scalable AI training and inference, the NVIDIA DGX Station for local AI development, and the DC-MHS multi-node enterprise server platforms for modular cloud and business deployments.
Danny Hsu, General Manager of Enterprise Platform Solutions at MSI, explained, "Scaling AI infrastructure today requires a balance of computational power, thermal efficiency, and deployment flexibility. MSI's AI platform portfolio is tailored to support the application of AI from rack-scale infrastructure to localized AI development."
Comprehensive Infrastructure Portfolio
MSI's infrastructure innovations expand to include both liquid and air-cooled rack architectures. The OCP ORv3 rack solutions feature liquid cooling, while standard EIA rack architectures with air cooling are also available for a seamless deployment in existing enterprise settings. The 21-inch rack structure enables system installations able to handle performance levels of up to 100 kW, featuring integrated liquid-to-liquid cooling units (L2L CDU).
Furthermore, the broader 21-inch ORv3 design incorporates 28 Open Compute multi-node systems of type 1OU2N, facilitating elevated computing density and effective liquid cooling integration. Both AMD EPYC™ 9005 and Intel® Xeon® 6 platform options are on offer, ensuring adaptability across different enterprise environments.
NVIDIA-Powered Solutions
The MSI portfolio includes NVIDIA-based AI infrastructural solutions that comprise GPU-accelerated servers and desktop supercomputing platforms. The NVIDIA MGX architecture supports scalable AI training, inference, and HPC deployments across various cooling configurations.
The NVIDIA DGX Station desktop platform stands out as it furnishes data center-level AI computing power, making it suitable for local development and inference tasks. The NVIDIA MGX server range includes 2U, 4U, and 6U configurations crafted to support AI training and data-intensive workloads.
For example, the CG681-S6093 is a 6U model based on AMD EPYC supporting up to 8 GPUs, while the CG290-S3063 is a 2U platform designed for edge AI integration, making it perfect for data centers with limited space.
Flexible Multi-Node Platforms
MSI is also presenting its DC-MHS multi-node platforms, adaptable for Open Compute and Core Compute frameworks. These modular systems facilitate scalable infrastructure builds while allowing easy transitions in modern computing environments. The air and liquid-cooled Open Compute portfolio comprises various platforms optimized for high-density AI solutions, all equipped with a 48V DC busbar power distribution.
Business-Focused Enterprise Platforms
In addition to its innovations in rack-scale infrastructures, MSI is showcasing enterprise platforms built around both modular DC-MHS servers and standard architectures for cloud integrations. These offer GPU-capable server platforms ready for deployment in diverse computational contexts, from complex AI inference tasks to robust corporate workloads.
Overall, MSI is paving the way for advanced AI infrastructures, combining innovative cooling solutions with scalable, powerful computing resources that cater to the evolving demands of modern data environments. With a commitment to excellence and flexibility, MSI’s contributions at COMPUTEX 2026 are setting new industry standards for AI infrastructure deployment.
