PL-Universe Robotics Launches ProWhite Robot 2.0 and Intelligent Hand

On November 1, 2025, PL-Universe Robotics, a rising star in the field of embodied intelligence based in China, celebrated the launch of their innovative products during a compelling event called Robotics 2025 Launch at JD.com’s headquarters in Beijing's Yizhuang district. This launch marks a pivotal moment for the company as it seeks to revolutionize various industries through advanced robotic solutions.

The event, themed “The Scene is the Key,” was focused on addressing real-world industrial problems. The spotlight was on PL-Universe's flagship product, the ProWhite Robot 2.0, alongside its newly developed dexterous hand, the PL-WitHand, which aims to empower the manufacturing sector.

During the event, PL-Universe Robotics also announced an exclusive global online sales partnership with JD.com, which will help facilitate international distribution and enhance service system development. One of the highlights of the ProWhite Robot 2.0 is its incredible precision and adaptability, features that are crucial in meeting the multi-dimensional demands of modern manufacturing processes. It integrates sophisticated end-effectors designed for tasks like locking, dosing, oiling, and soldering, offering real-time visual positioning that ensures high precision.

The PL-WitHand represents a significant achievement in robotic technology, being the world's first hybrid dexterous hand designed for industrial applications. It incorporates an innovative tendon-joint gearbox to blend flexibility with accurate control, ultimately achieving around 20 degrees of freedom, providing dexterity nearly akin to that of a human hand. This capability is enabled by PL-Universe's intelligent grasping algorithm, ProxiGrasp, which optimizes its functionality.

The launch event attracted over a hundred participants, including participants from various sectors such as electronics, automotive parts, and semiconductors, as well as journalists and industry professionals. Keynote speeches were delivered by GE Jin, the Founder and COO of PL-Universe Robotics, and WU Chaoxin, the Co-founder and CTO, who shared insights into scenario-based applications of embodied intelligence and the development of a robust industrial ecosystem.
