PLUS Corporation's Recognition at ORGATEC TOKYO 2026
PLUS Corporation, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is proud to announce that it has received the prestigious Special Award at the ORGATEC TOKYO 2026, held from June 2 to June 4 at Tokyo Big Sight. This award recognizes outstanding booth design and craftsmanship at this significant office furniture exhibition.
The ORGATEC TOKYO 2026 event features over 150 companies and brands focused on creating innovative office solutions. The ORGATEC TOKYO Awards honor booths that conceptually embody the exhibition's theme, "SHIFT DESIGN," showcasing high levels of design excellence.
This year's awards kept the central theme while shifting the focus to the concepts of "connecting" and "disconnecting." In our evolving work culture, there is a growing consensus about the office being a space for connection. However, a recent survey conducted by our company revealed that around 70% of workers experience "exhausting connections" caused by unexpected interruptions, lengthy casual conversations, and distracted meetings.
In response to these findings, our presentation emphasized the need for purposeful mechanisms that encourage appropriate disconnection while still fostering synergies among workers. It highlights the evolving role of the office in light of diverse working styles and emphasizes our new company tagline, "Furnishing Uniqueness - Plus Value for Each Individual's Work Style.”
As we adapt to the changing landscape of work, PLUS Corporation aims to create office environments that facilitate meaningful connections while also promoting necessary separations. Our goal is to support a work culture where collaboration is energized, dialogues are enriching, and each individual can find their ideal working conditions, described by the term "Igokochi."
We continue to develop strategies that encourage both effective collaboration and individual productivity by designing office spaces that respect personal boundaries and organizational needs. Our ongoing commitment is to create a balanced work environment that not only acknowledges the importance of connections but also the benefits derived from moments of productive solitude.
As we look forward, PLUS Corporation will persist in its mission to design office spaces that resonate with these changing dynamics, ensuring that each employee can experience an environment that enhances their work life.
