Knight-Hennessy Scholars Announces 2026 Cohort



Stanford University’s Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) program has unveiled its 2026 cohort, comprising 87 new scholars, the most representative group yet. This year’s participants hail from 31 different countries and will pursue their studies in 45 diverse graduate programs offered across all seven schools at Stanford.

This notable cohort marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time scholars from countries such as Croatia, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan have been selected. This expansion of global representation underscores KHS's commitment to fostering a diverse academic community where varied perspectives can flourish.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a fully endowed, interdisciplinary leadership development initiative designed for graduate students at Stanford. Participants in this program receive up to three years of financial support for their studies while engaging in activities that develop their capacity to become courageous and collaborative leaders facing the world's pressing challenges.
